We need Lehner back badly. He is better than Johnson and Ullmark. How much more I am not sure but the eye test it is pretty clear he's head and shoulders above both of these guys.

Are weekday games at the Joe Louis Arena normally this empty? Much is made about the low attendance in Carolina or Florida or Arizona, but good lord, the attendance looks terrible in Detroit.

Nope. They're all been sold out for over 200 consecutive games now, and before a small handful of games that were at around 95% capacity, over 400 consecutive sellouts. This topic has been done to death - Detroit is always in the top 5 of attendance. It doesn't look sold out at the start of games because the concourses are narrow, bathroom lines are long, and the crowd is usually late arriving. Building was completely full as the game progressed.
