PC built. The Child came for the ride and helped plug things in and did screws and such. She got a complete lesson in how these work.

Hit the power button. Blank screen. Three beeps. Troubleshoot the RAM completely. Both sticks, every slot. Still three beeps. Becoming concerned mobo is shit.

Closer listening revealed it was one slightly long beep followed by two almost identical beeps. Reseat GPU. Beeps. Check the ports...I left a manufacturer plug in one of the DP outputs. I lost all that time because this thing was giving itself a stroke trying to talk to a lump of plastic.

And people fear AI
