I was driving along Aspen St. yesterday when I noticed a guy standing outside the trinity where Lynch lived when he was at PAFA. He was taking a picture of a photo of Lynch printed on paper with the house in the background. Thought it was strange but I figured he was just a really big Lynch fan or something. Didn't hear about his death until hours later, and then it made sense.
Also, I'm convinced that David Bowie has re-opened the portal to the cool alternate dimension he definitely established in 2016 and that naturally Lynch was the first one to get the invite.
First hour was boring. I liked the second hour. Idk what anything meant. Your boy Lynch was gooned out behind the camera though. The avatar stays for at least another week.@BigToe — I need you to watch Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, or Mulholland Drive and report back to me.
This gonna be good.
Mulholland? I think I have a pretty good idea of what was supposed to actually be going on. Except for the thing in that gif. I've never figured out that scene's connection to everything else.First hour was boring. I liked the second hour. Idk what anything meant. Your boy Lynch was gooned out behind the camera though. Ya. I usually don’t even try to figure things out when they’re that all over the place. I like the chaos but it took forever to really start. Then the Blue Is The Warmest Color scenes popped up out of nowhere.Mulholland? I think I have a pretty good idea of what was supposed to actually be going on. Except for the thing in that gif. So you Flyered the game? Can't forget to mention a big 5-4 overtime win for @VladDrag and myself last night. Went down 2-0 and battled back for the W
I’m more locked in than you think I am, bb.Wait. Hold up. How on earth do you know what that movie is. You live under a rock, but you’re dropping references to French language lesbian movies?
Kinda reminds me of how I felt after watching Beau Is Afraid but I loved that though. Mullingoveryou Drive didn’t fully do it for me.I think the sort of unifying theory is pretty obvious. But it doesn’t totally add up. There does always seem to be a sense to his chaos, but it’s just barely out of reach. And with most Lynch stuff, it’s better to not obsessively try to “solve” everything.
