So I believe there isn’t much of a ventilation system. From my understanding, they rely on the actual trains going through the tunnel to move air.

The PATH lines and this one in particular are ancient and would be condemned if they weren’t absolutely critical infrastructure for commuters.

And I have videos of myself on the train that I haven’t posted anywhere yet.


I did send an actual summary to some law firms a few days ago, so we’ll see what happens.

That's an insane setup. They need actual ventilation. Electric rail insulators always end up failing, they arc, the burn, they fill the tunnel with smoke while trains are stopped because power is out.
