Revised duals in NM are ~300-800ish. Yes, Revised. Prices of course go up if they’re Unlimited or earlier.

You should find them and PM me pictures of everything, not just what you think is important. There are a ton of Commons and Uncommons worth decent money too.

If you really have cards from 1993, that’s a completely different animal. I think every NM Beta card is $40+ at this point, including the completely useless commons.

I got out too early. I started during Arabian nights and got out around whatever came after weatherlight.

Arabian?! Oh god. You started even before me. Never look up prices. Never.

I scooped up most of the Power in South Jersey when people transitioned to Type II in addition to what I had. Sadly I sold some of it in ~2006, but I still have a bunch.

I had to fact check myself. It was antiquities, not Arabian. I have a brother who is ~ 9 years my senior, so I got into it when he did.

I got out because the place around the corner from where I grew up in Washington Township went out of business and I didn't feel like driving to the deptford mall to find peoppe to play.

My brother sold his set much later than I did, but I know he made handsome profits on his moxes and big blues.

UHHHHH. If he sold the power and like things at the Township store I think he did to a random guy between ~96 and ~2005, I am so sorry. Not a lot of people were buying that type of stuff once Type 2 became popular.

Hahaha, I don't recall if he sold it to a random guy or to a store ( if memory served there was a place in the cherry hill or deptford mall as well). I know he did fairly well for himself- at the time - though.

But if you're telling me you used to frequent superhero city, this intertwining of our lives just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Lol

I never played there or anything, but even if he sold it to that store, it also might have ended up with me. I drove around to every place that had in-store play from New Brunswick or so and south buying up all Type I/Vintage playables from people and the vendors themselves. Sometimes store owners would save that stuff for me and want a bunch of the new stuff they could flip quickly for guaranteed profit or would give me a list of what they want for trade. The one thing I learned early on from sports cards was to stop chasing what everyone else wanted at the time or artificially rare and start squirreling away what was actually rare and useful to someone.

There was one GenCon where me and a couple of friends cracked some cases of boosters, sent one guy on a plane, and traded strictly brand new Weatherlight rares for ~100 pieces of power, Beta played cards, and hundreds of duals. I distinctly remember Abeyance was traded only for Lotuses because there was an incorrect interpretation of the rules that made people think Abeyance was a Time Walk that drew a card too. He had people chasing him down to make that deal. Then he got home and we split it all up evenly. Everything is a relationship business.

Amazing. Thats hilarious. But also not surprising either. I do remember the surge of people exiting the Type I environment to your point, because the availability/price of those cards was too 'exclusive' and also because the games mechanics just changed so dramatically.

If I was so inclined as to use this program, I might note that there is an menu under Game Settings that includes an option called "Content Downloaders". That feels important for some reason.

All Constructed Formats, Drafts, Sealed Decks, etc. It also includes a version of something related to the old Shandalar PC game if that rings a bell.

I don't know why I expected this to be anything less than incredibly dense. I love it. Digging in.

Today I learned that mana burn died in 2010?!?
