The fire fighter crews out here are legends. My neighbor is one. These people don’t f*** around. A few years back when one of our utility companies went full defect and didn’t shut down their grid during high winds fires popped up everywhere. The Brighton bush fire department didn’t evacuate and was completely surrounded by fire. Those dudes stick it out and saved the town.
