OT: 110th Obsequious Banter Thread: Giving 110% and more

So uh. I did some adulting yesterday. I’m not sure how I feel about it.
I emailed Milky Way and asked why I haven’t seen Milky Way Easter eggs in a few years.
I don’t care for them but my wife loves them.
I feel childish for asking where the candy is at but feel like an adult to trying to “fix a problem” with a candy company.

The kicker is I got some weird wishy washy answer.

It reads like they do make it but at the same time it reads like it was cancelled. Corporations suck.

i didnt even get that sorta response from Wawa when i asked if they stopped carrying/making the macaroni salad that i liked..and i emailed them twice

I’ve found wawa answered tagged twitter messages really fast.
Complaining about a terribly terribly made sandwich is the reason why I have a twitter account. That shit was bad. Like 3am I don’t give a shit McDonald’s bad.

I spend a considerable amount of my life in the Birmingham/Montgomery area for work, and the local reaction to tornadoes is really bizarre. There could be a tornado 15 miles away and people will act like nothing is going on, just going about their day, etc. I don't know if it's just apathy because they deal with these storms so much or what, but Dixie Alley tornadoes are no joke. They get a lot of them at night and most are rain-wrapped.

I was in Montgomery in January while a tornado was ripping through Selma some 40 miles away. The storm killed like 10 people and destroyed a lot of commercial and residential property. I turned to my customer with like a "can you believe this?" look. He just kind of shrugged and went back to my deck lol.

This is the place to put dog pictures, right? Had a dog growing up, but never wanted to get one when I was working 80+ hours a week. I would have felt bad leaving it alone from like 7 to 7 every day. Now that I'm working way less and have the opportunity to train a service dog to hang out with me all the time thanks to the brain tumor and the coming issues that presents, I pulled the trigger on acquiring one yesterday.

I present to you Zephyr Theseus McDoodle. He is a medium Goldendoodle and is three months old. Despite the not so favorable weather conditions, we're currently batting around .750 on bathroom attempts and directing him to chew on toys instead of non-chewing items has been rather successful so far. Stairs are currently a no go, which is great because he can't get to far out of sight when he wanders.

Weather was like friggin nice as hell after the rain and then within like a few mins winds crazy and about lima bean to marble sized hail.
