He came off the ice as if we were losing 6-0. He’s playing lights out he did this many times in his career with a bad team in front of him and kept his cool. I don't agree with you often, but yea - it does feel like he does this all the time now. It's kinda strange. Anytime there's a flurry of shots, or he gives up a goal, he kinda goes crazy.

I never said he sucked or was “garbage.” I said his shooting percentage is sky high and he needs elite talent around him to produce like he’s doing right now. Saying that and wanting Panarin to keep playing with him is not mutually exclusive.

You’re also moving the goalposts. You said that my post was much different compared to last night. I said it’s not. Now you’re saying I’ll come around on him eventually. But if you remember what I said, I said I really hope he proves me wrong. I want to come around on him. More towards the general HFNYR naysayers who hate Strome so much that the best they can say is he's upping his trade value rather than actually praising good work. Yea that was a great play. His last two games he’s been playing very well.

In addition, I’d also like to say that when the Hall-Larsson and Eberle-Strome trades happened, I was angry because I thought there was no way we would get our chance to complete the NY/NJ fleecing of the Oilers. Whether Strome is an ok 2C or good 3C, this is yet another robbery by Gorton, and another fleecing of the Oilers.
