What happened to making a player think twice about making a play? Hitting is a major aspect of the game IMO. Physical and mental. The weary wont go for a puck if they know they'll get crunched or continually get crunched... It's not rocket science.

The 'Rick Nash, ass-to-ass'/going through the motions hit is pointless IMO.

Looks like a night where either the boys are getting tested and responding or they don’t have it at all and are rising to the occasion to stay in it. Tough to say but I’ll lean the former.
