The biggest thing that stands out other than Glendening is that McDonagh/Cernak are getting eaten up quite a bit for being our go to guys.

Seems more systematic than a personnel issue. Compared to the ES numbers, that sheer cliff of the drop off screams it's the system. Our PK sucks because they just let the opposing team do whatever they want. They rarely pressure the puck carrier on entry and just try to get sticks in lanes.

I'm wondering if we just spent so much time trying to turn around our 5v5 game vs last year that we haven't done a lot of work yet with the special teams.

I read we've given up 5 or more goals in five of our seven road games, so we need some practice there too.
