Final days of my holiday in Seattle. My first ever Thanksgiving. Can't wait! Just watched the first NFL game and getting ready for game 2 but I have a question:

Why does the NHL advertise games played on Friday as "Thanksgiving Showdown"??? It doesn't make any sense. Call it "Black Friday Face-off" or something

Yes. I am normally responsible for the correct day/month/year designation. But in honor (I even left out the 'U' in honour) of our American brothers and sisters it is your day.

Thankful for my beautiful family, the mere opportunity to indulge in that much food when that's more food than some eat in months at a time, thankful for heavy metal and the beautiful game of hockey.
