$8M would have been fine if last season was his norm. It's looking like he isnt a 50 point two way defense man without the Jets talent around him.

He had a good start to the season and it fell apart.

I can't say I didn't see this coming. Last season was an outlier for him points wise and his underlying metrics weren't as good as the point totals would suggest. Hopefully he begins his redemption tour with that goal. I don't want to think about the possibility that he's going to be a guy that we wish we didn't have on the books in a few years.
