Coop has never really thrown a player under the bus after a game, but you have to be honest. You have to. Call it was it is. You do more damage to the team trying to protect JJ from scrutiny than being fair and honest.

Another thing to consider is the team never plays with confidence when JJ is in net. They're always 4-6 gosl games. At dome point enough is enough. JJ us the problem.

Any other backup goalie would be better than this guy

This. It's pretty hard to find any game from any team where a goalie gave up 7 and it wasn't his fault. Guys had to come back twice just to get it to OT. And I get it, it's one of those unwritten rules in hockey where you never blame the goalie, but everyone has to be held accountable, and it can't just be privately. If Coop can bench Stammer, Point, and Kuch in the same game to prove a point, he can hold JJ's feet to the fire a little too.

I dont think anybody *solely* blames JJ when Perbix is sliding across their TV screens off a cross ice backhand pass in the neutral zone, but if he makes two, *shrugs*, extra saves, we probably win. The team sucks, I agree there's a lot of reasons why we shouldn't be giving up that much to a lousy team, but these goals allowed are on Johansson. I don't know how THIS performance could lead to a different conclusion.

This is what you get when you don't draft enough and the RIGHT goalies since drafting Vasilevskiy, and when you half ass your attempts to find a backup.

Once they went up 3-0, Lightning barely won any puck battles the rest of the game. Give the Blue Jackets credit, they fought hard the rest of the night. Paul's absence was noticeable.
