Great game and fun to watch some old time hockey out there in the 3rd. Hope the Rangers can keep this up.

Love that Lemieux stood up to Wilson. That’s how this Rangers team can start forming an identity!

Just watched on dvr..Breadman with Rockette move after goal is the play of the game
My view of Pavel is quickly changing to the positive
Filip is strong with the puck on side boards and behind net
Caps are a heavy team they took some shots on our guys and they hung in there
Kaapo power move on PP was a thing of beauty

I ****ing hate NBC. I almost didn't want to watch tonight when I found out. And an 8PM start on top of that? **** that ****. Gotta listen to Doc screeching and the rest of the NBC crew barely hiding their disdain for the Rangers every single time. And we play on NBC so often. I hate it.

Didn't hear a moment of disdain and I think Doc is great.

Always get a kick out of fan paranoia. Everyone is against us is the phrase uttered by some fans of every franchise in every sport. Odd, isn't it?

Was traveling for a few days so just catching up. Watched the game late last night.

the team really missed Kakko. Says a lot about the 18 year old. The PP is fire with him on it. He’s getting better every night. If he weren’t playing with 48 and 21 he’d have more points. Those guys just in fairness are nowhere near as skilled.

Panarin is just a joy to watch. The Jagger leg kick was perfect lol.

Trouba again battleship kind of night. Against a heavy team like that you are glad you have him back there eating mins and pushing back. But I liked all the D mostly tonight.

hank was fortunate but overall ok last night. Made some big stops.

I loved howden’s battle level tonight and getting rewarded with a goal was great. Kid’s motor is always running. Really would like to see him slotted in that 4C role for now to crash and bang and be disruptive.

the Chytil Buchnevich chem is real. And that’s a good thing they could be playing together for a long time. Chytil is quickly And maybe surprising to some, becoming imo one of our best two way centerS (besides Mika). He’s back quickly head on a swivel. He’s just such a good skater.

Gettinger was solid. A Brian Boylesque upside imo. Very long. Went right to the net. He could be something for sure on the 4th line

going to watch the Hartford game this morning. I’m really happy to see lias hit the ground running and taking this as an opportunity.

Olczyk is a good announcer and not biased against us imo.

Tell you what else. If you had told me before the season that Mika would miss 10 of the first 19 games and we’d be 9-8-2 thru it Id have told you you were nuts. Would think we’d be in way worse shape than that.

getting him back will be huge.

surprisingly in the East, the only 3 teams that have been better than us (6-3-1) in the last 10 games are the islanders the caps and actually the senators.

But the Sens lost Names. Huge blow to them.

Panarin
Buch
Howden (admit it, folks, he played a great game)

HM: Kakko, Chytil, Hank

Ups and downs, ups and downs. Story of a young team. The thing to focus on is that their ups are quality. Great sign for the future.

I think Howden has great potential as a 4C. Just didn't like him at 3C. But at this point he has shown more than Andersson.

It’s bizarre too. Why would they dislike the Rangers? But I feel it too. Maybe it’s just millberry? Is Keith Jones still there? I found him to be a bit of a hater too. But him and Emrick at least call it fairly straight.

Business decision.

More people hate New York than like New York.

The only ones on NBC that seem to treat the Rangers like an equal team are Jeremy Roenick and Patrick Sharp.

I think he used to be for the first several years he had that gig, but has mellowed on his bias. That’s probably true for him across the board.

Also, it’s pretty easy to appreciate Olczyk after having to listen to Milbury for a whole year.

Actually, before his cancer diagnosis, he was pretty bitter and angry doing Ranger games.

Since he's come back, he seems to be a different person. He's even an enjoyable listen now when NBC does horse racing.

Nice win. Lost the shots battle but pretty handily won the xGF% battle against a good team.

Lindgren has strung together 4-5 pretty good games. Happy to see.

Buchnevich was the best player on the ice for both teams. Especially in the third period.

Chytil is just really, really good at a lot of things and I like him a lot

Panarin is automatic for a goal and or primary assist every game and it's gr8

Kakko clearly oozes skill and it's tantalizing to watch.

I'm buying Lemieux a beer if I ever see him in person for his services.

Brendan Lemieux can play on my team any day of the week.
He can and he will. Again, my belief is that he is being groomed to be the body in front of the net on PP1, presumably if and when Kreider gets traded.

Oh, yeah. And so much for the "Lemieux would get destroyed by Wilson" commentary. Over the long term, Lemieux is going to be the more effective player.
