We could have had guys on the end of a 3 minute shift after being trapped in defensive zone who then iced the puck and AV would just stand there, chewing gum acting like he's not paying attention.

No because scoring when you’re down 2-0 isn’t as huge as scoring when your team is depleted after going down by 4 goals in the first 10 minutes of a game. If he didn’t score this period, the game is over.

He doesn’t nominate ADA every game. Only when he’s been deserving. And he has been for a lot of the games recently. Whether you like it or not, DeAngelo is a very good player. Every good player makes mistakes. You don’t have to be this reactionary and aggressive about it.

Edit: And I like Trouba, but he has been pretty bad recently. Other than the last game or two.

He does most games. And ADA is one of my favorite current Rangers.

I dislike Smith, but I’m capable of throwing praise his way when he deserves it. Some posters can put their personal feelings aside when evaluating a players performance.

Georgiev doesnt have a middle ground like Lundqvist. He is wildly inconsistent. He either let's up 1-2 goals or 5+ goals. Even last season, he was inconsistent. In the games he is off, he doesnt give the team a chance. When Lundqvist is off, he is still generally serviceable and can make it a competitive game.
