This is the biggest test so far of the season. We're up against a great team on the road, with our weaker netminder in net.

This is one of those games where you hope to see an extra effort from everyone to try to meet the task.

It's so weird for me to hear Edmonton being called a great team. It does not compute. I expect a Georgy shutout.

West coast start times on a Friday night are golden for me. It’ll be 6:30-7pm when puck drops. We just cracked our Friday beers in the office. Plenty of time to get a nice buzz and some good food between now and game time.

I normally love watching number retirements and ceremonies for guys who get inducted into The Hall. Kevin Lowe is so undeserving of it though... I will not be tuning in until gametime.

Does every coach hate our media? I feel like the same old repeated cliches or hiding lineup decisions has been going on for over 10 years.

Obviously Torts hates press conferences. Quinn had the same responses but he had a seemingly positive relationship. GG is like Torts and doesn't want to reveal any decision and repeats the same tired cliches.

Can't wait for this board to deservedly explode when Georgiev gives up a muffin in the first minute. He gets pissed off and gives up 2 more then finally buckles down.

Fine, it’s a back-to-back, but play your starter against the better team.

It doesn’t really make a difference which team gets the starter and which gets the backup.

I would basically decide by

1. If they aren’t the same play the starter in the division game
2. If they aren’t the same play the starter in the conference game
3. Play the starter against the team you’re more likely competing with for a playoff start
4. If none of the above play the starter in G1 so he has more rest before his next game
