I smell the moral victory crowd warming up the excuse engine...

This is more than a moral victory. This is a great sign in the right direction. The team is dominating, and looking better and better. They're not just showing signs of life, they're showing competitiveness

This has possibly been the best first 40 minutes of a game, and we should be shutting them out right now, and yet two **** bounces and they're winning 2-1. That just seems to be the way it's going to go this season, doesn't it?

Kreider has been amazing, but neither he, nor anyone else on this team can finish for ****.
didnt he finish on teh first goal? I mean on one shot vanek made a nice pass and on the other one stepan passed it a little behind him so he couldt get the lift on the shot

disagree........lack of puck handling, skilled, scoring forwards is why....

we dominated the isles and lost 2-0 that period. they got 2 lucky goals. i dont know what more you want from this team with the injuries they currently have. i believe that was the best period the couldve possibly played without nash and cally.

We have to have one of the "nicest" D in the entire league. And not in the complimentary way.

They don't really hit, they definitely don't fight, and they provide next to zero offense. Sounds like a recipe for success!

dont bother with that guy he is the one guy who was pissed we won the red wings game

They don't hand out points unless you actually win the game. Too little too late if they are more than 4 points out by Thursday.

Same work ethic, almost same result. we have 1 more goal than last night......big whoop !!

I'm stuck at work and not watching the game, so I can't really comment on the specifics of this game... But showing "competitiveness" against a team with one of the worst defenses in the league and a mediocre goalie and still only scraping out a single goal so far is not anything to be bragging about.
