No it’s that every year , particularly recent years, there is a scapegoat player, and an over rated player, and then borderline lunacy to the extreme of fan fiction to explain the use or lack of use these players.

First of all, that’s relative. Second of all, I agree with you, but that’s normal. All fan bases are like that. They all have their overrated/underrated/scapegoat players. I don’t want to keep talking about DeAngelo so much, but he deserves to play. Once he stops being treated poorly, I will relax. I think most reasonable people agree that his play does not warrant a benching, but that’s beside the point.

And you have to understand that Tony is my favorite player in the NHL. I’ve liked him ever since he was on the Coyotes. And it’s frustrating when my favorite player is sitting in favor of someone like Staal or McQuaid. Besides, in my original post, I didn’t even say anything crazy. All I said is he needs to play, and you flipped out haha. Pot calling the kettle black.

Look to each their own, but if at this point in time anyone’s favorite player in the NHL is ADA, means I was pretty dead on with eveything you said being weird in regard to how he was being treated.
