11-1-2022: Flyers at Rangers...another non-sellout at MSG!

Go ahead tells us the cheapest price for a Rangers rivalry game and see how it stacks up to the rest of the league.

I've been looking to go towards the end of the year but my options are very limited given I am taking my wife and kid, have to pay 2 nights at a hotel plus travel to Manhattan. Nevermind Garden food. Ill be eating Gotham Pizza anyway so Ill save there but I am stuck looking at going to either a Ducks or Carolina game and neither one are very attractive for me but alas.

17k+ all things considered , on a weekday is pretty damn impressive.

On the other hand I'd could easily afford season tickets to the Penguins or even Buffalo.

Manhattan isn't cheap brother.

I'd be interested to see attendance and ticket sales in other sports too. The fact is that with the ridiculous cost of living nowadays people are saying "Nah, not worth it" to sporting events.

OT: Isn't the MSG lease expiring soon?

Dunno what is really gonna happen but they seem to go through this every once and awhile. MSG actually owns the land it's built on, the permit mentioned is a license to operate permit. To move the arena the city would have to buy the land from MSG which would obviously cost a lot by itself.

I haven't really kept up on whether THIS TIME they will really build a new arena or if it's the usual song and dance about it.

MSG is so goddamn expensive. I'm the biggest Rangers fan I know and I haven't been to a game in over 5 years because of the costs.

If I take the wife and we sit in the nosebleeds and each have 1 beer and a burger or something I'm EASILY spending $400. That's just for a random regular season game too.

Not to beat a dead horse, but Rangers ticket prices are insane. My partner is Rangers fan and even she's ok with just going to the Rock because of it.

Going to a Rangers game is expensive. People has less disposable income at the moment and everything costs more.

It's not a casual outing anymore.
