Semin 2009 would give us 25-30 goal, Semin 2014 would give us -30 goal, he's bad, really really bad, he is even a healthy scratch in the worst team in NHL atm, and thats with 7M for another 4 year.

Yeah but he's pretty much untradable with that contract, it would take a major retained to trade him.

NO WAY do I want Semin. We aren't that desperate for scoring and he is awful nowadays.

Flash's contract falls off the books this year. If we choose not to re-sign him we can look at other options through free agency. Semin's contract is beyond brutal. One of the worst in ALL sports.

Go look at the free agent RW's this year on cap geek. Justin Williams is the only guy I'd throw $ at but you know LA will re-sign him.
