A neighbor of mine had a right side drive early 60s Mercedes convertible. Gorgeous car.

I'm probably going to get roasted for this but... I don't understand the obsession with cars. Like I'm totally fine with other people being really into cars and stuff, but I'm just not into it. Does it have four wheels, a steering wheel, and the ability to move me from place to place? That is all I'm really looking for.

I've never really been a "car guy," but I appreciate the eye appeal of a nice set of wheels. When I was a kid, a guy owned a 60s-era red Jaguar E-Type a couple of neighborhoods over. It was fire engine red, with shimmering spoked wheels, black rag top, and that unusually sweet slipper shape to it. It reminded me of one of my Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars, so it immediately connected with me as something I would always want to have.

Not red, though. Red is for bitches.
