Have you listened to some of the callers into the postgame shows over the years? This fanbase is filled with bipolar lunatics at the best of times lol.
You have to be a bit crazy(or impaired) to call into a postgame radio show to start with, and most of them can barely articulate the half baked thoughts and emotions they've decided to inflict on the greater population.

They're not really representative of overall outlook of the fanbase

They should honestly play Nurse more 3 on 3. He can skate like a horse in that situation, he's actually pretty good maybe better than Bouchard.

Ummmm...no. Go back and watch what Bouchard did in the OT goal vs NYI.

Held the zone all by himself vs 3 on a line change. Then he faked the shit outta a forechecker with a pump move to drop to McD

Yep. My preseason prediction that STammer and Marsh were looking for retirment contracts sure looks to be holding. Disgusting effort by both in the game. Preds 4th line only players that can hold their head up. Forsberg was awful too. These guys must have all taken up golf. The worst players for the Preds were their skill players. Go figure.

ps No goose loonies anymore. We're showing our age. heh
I also heard that Buddy Holly passed away. I am trying to get confirmation.

The Oilers always remind me of one of my favorite Ringo Starr songs-- And You Know It Don't Come Easy."
Better that one than “your sixteen”. Always found it hugely creepy (but a hell of a melody). He still sings it at his AllStar Band concerts. He’s 84 years old. You just cant.

Great OT goal

On a side note, Nurse looks visibly happier not just in this game, but this season overall compared to the last couple of seasons. Hopefully whatever malaise he was dealing with is dealt with and he can continue on as a more confident/happy player going forward.
I noticed that too. I wonder if something was going on in his personal life, I know he has a young kid so maybe now he's getting more sleep now that the kid isn't a baby anymore? Just a guess. Fatherhood can be rougher on some than others, Nuge might be going through that now. Just have to hope that Connor and Leon don't have their kids until after retirement ;)

All Bouchard did was stand there to hold the zone, the isles players didn’t even have enough energy to pressure him

Honestly as long as they keep winning these OT games I don’t mind. Some pretttay goals scored there.

I think McDavid is pretty close to being back, which is huge.
My only thing with it is I want to see how plays now that he hit 1000.

I hope there isn’t an emotional let down and that he gets 3 points or more against Tayronto.

That plus Kane returning and a lot of guys with a lot more to give offensively. This roster is capable of being dominant when playoffs hit. Would like someone else in net to push Skinner as well or take over for him if he continues to struggle.
And one more Dman lol

Did any past coach even for a second consider playing Nurse on the right side? He looks like it opened a new world for him. Maybe getting out of his comfort zone has given him a boost. Almost maybe the "ring around the boards" option being harder to execute on the right forces him to get his legs moving more. I really wish Knob got this idea before last playoffs, but better late than never. Kulak is a good partner, good skater, good passer, what Nurse needs with him and gets to play his comfy side now.

Maybe just need a solid 3rd pair LHD now. Having to still play Nurse/Kulak with our lower end guys did end up costing us a bit like the tying goal. Find a solid partner for Stecher/Emberson and we could be in decent shape.
