God it really doesn't feel that long ago. I was a sophomore in high school when they first won. I always felt kind of spoiled because when I first starting watching the team it was like right at the start of Lombardi's rebuild so I always saw them get better and better year after year and then seeing the team come to together during the playoffs was really special.

I basically didn't sleep that night. I was working a 2am-11am shift at the time and just could not miss the game and then they won so of course I had to stay up later to savor the celebration. lol Best no sleep shift ever though.

man, proof that 10 years is an absolute eternity in sports, eh?

In life too but sheesh

2012 was the year before my daughter was born (no correlation heh) so the celebration this night was absolutely bonkers and lasted all damn night

My celebration in 2014 was yelling enough to wake up the kid on my SO's lap and send the dog flying outside after whatever intruder just bodysnatched me before going to bed with a smile at like 10pm.

Ha, same exact story. My daughter was 6 months old in 2014 and also awakened by screaming.

2012 was great and first time is always special, but the 2014 run was the most ridiculous SC run by any team, maybe ever.

2014 meant more as it relates to hockey but 2012 just meant more, if that makes sense.

Only playoff game I've missed in person since 2002 was Game 3 of the Anaheim series so I've been there for everything: 2012 was just on a different level emotionally.

 Never forget. Just hearing Bob's voice and being happy for what he's been through for 46 freaking years will always put mad allergies in my eyes. Hoping it won't be another 46 f**kin years for the next.

its a tie for me.. 2012 was the first and a great run. 2014 - we slayed all our WC rivals in dramatic fashion, sharts, schmucks and hawks. All the comebacks were so cool.

Listening to Bob call that last 30 seconds is spine tingling. I still watch the whole Blu-Ray of that cup run at least once per year, it was such a great time and a stunning run.

One day in the future, all his detractors here are going to get teary-eyed when Faust calls his first cup ;)

2012: No more Cupless smack talk from Ducks fans. They only enjoyed that for 5 years.
2014: LA 2, Anaheim 1. Feels good man
I compare the first two cups to sexual encounters.
The first cup , we were so exciting hoping that we would finally "get some" and it was over before we realized what happened.
With the second cup, we took our time and thought about her needs
