I don't think people realize the shooting lanes they have. They are blocked. They don't have shooting lanes. It's not like they have shooting lanes and are passing them up. They are passing because they do not have shooting lanes.

I don't think you are right at all with that.

And they sit there with the puck. No passing lane. Nobody moving. And after doing that a half dozen times a shift, they force something, because they have to do 'something'.

It all starts with a lack of movement. The refusal to move eliminates the numbers advantage.

I mean, they don't have shooting lanes because they are flinging the puck around the boards and sitting up high playing catch. This isn't a hustle issue. You open up lanes by being aggressive. By moving around the ice and keeping the other team off balance by SHOOTING. It's not like they aren't going after pucks or winning battles. They are passive and it isn't gonna work.

If there are no more PPs for us tonight, it looks like we slip to 25th in the league in PP%.

That about matches the eye test. Might even be a little generous.

Idk if there’s a specific thread for this, but this announcing tandem is awful. Literally no redeeming qualities. Hearing “Ol’ two-niner” 275 times a night drives me into an unreasonable rage.

Please come back, Mike Lang

Hey @ColePens, the one I loved last PP was when Geno had the puck on the right wall, and there was a path to fire the puck towards the net, and he threw it there thinking someone would be there to tip it, and nobody was within 10 feet (your boy Horny would've been). So, even when they finally get that lane, it's not a threat. Just ******** brutal.

Not gonna lie, if I could just bench Phil aside from the PP I'd be elated right now.

Sid & Geno are both liabilities out there. As is Jake to be honest.
