bad list - korps, the bottom 6 other than fred and beecher, carlo, lohrei, sadly pasta
every one else was forgettable

Looked the same as last year. Can't win a puck battle if you are too slow to get there. Can't get out of your zone if the other team doesn't have to respect your ability to produce anything on the rush. They will look a lot better the next couple of games, but against these teams with speed and size they need some help.

I'm not normally advocating for goonery as the first response, but enough of Sam Bennett. He sucker-punched and concussed the captain last playoffs, now he's run the goalie, among other things. Someone who can be suspended and not cost the team, like a Kastellic, needs to ignore the officials and just hammer Bennett into the ice.

They lost 5-2 to the friggin Coyotes in game one of the 2010-2011 season and we saw how that season ended. Not saying we will have the same outcome but one game is hardly something to freak out about.

Boston won the third.
Played not that well, shaky goal tending and big boys take more time to get going.
I am all in for the best out of 7 against the Panthers

Did well in the 2nd in reality 5v5. Strictly speaking hockey performance the final 40 minutes were... adequate... to win a game 43 of 82 against Utah or LA etc.

The horrendous 1st, Bruins having their first true back up goalie in over a decade, and lack of physicality were the issue. Zero forecheck. Aside from Zadorov and Kastelic zero hitting.

In case the Bruins turned the other cheek from the playoffs, they had a prime reminder of Bennett obliterating the goalie. Still nothing.
