Might be some emotion between competitors, as Elias Lindholm and Matthew Tkachuk were linemates with Johnny Gaudreau in Calgary when Johnny Hockey had his career year.

Korpisalo looked fine in pre-season, but none of that matters now.

The Bruins have gotten off to tremendous starts in recent years, but this might be the season that starts off bumpy.

The October schedule is challenging

We all know the elephant in the room and when/if he signs he will need a couple of games in Providence.

But I am not worried about goaltending right now - the offense has issues.

The B's spent very little preseason game action getting their lines straight. This included not having their 2-3 best offensive prospects playing with offensively adept veterans. (maybe Poitras got to, but Lysell and Merkulov, didn't)
