I'd honestly be stunned if that's the starting 4th line.

and I doubt Vesey is getting the 1RW spot. IMO it's an evaluation

It will be Blais or Goodrow. Like I've said, Goodrow makes the most sense since Mika is used as a matchup line.

Nevertheless, it's a promising sign that they are giving Rydahl another game. 4th could end up Blais-Rydahl-Vesey for all we know.

which would be a welcomed surprise

I like Reaves. Reaves in the first 20 or so games was much better than end of year Reaves. He can't play every game. He doesn't have the juice to play at that pace consistently

Why did Drury extend Reaves one year with one year left on his contract? He's probably regretting it right now.
I dunno man. Reavo knows his roll. He knows he isn't playing every game. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, and he seems very much like a glue guy.

Vegas does not have state income tax. The contract he was on at the time was a 2 year, structured as 1.375M for year 1, and 2.125M for year 2 (Rangers traded for the 2nd year of his contract, which would be taxed at a rate higher than zero)

Maybe Reaves felt that was unfair to him.

Thing is that Reaves makes a lot more sense on a roster with 2 spare forwards than a roster with only one.

You want to have a 13th forward that you can plug in anywhere in the bottom 6. It's why I often called Rooney a 'good #13' Reaves isn't that, and he shouldn't be in the starting 12 every game.
