It’s extremely apparent when they play a team that is a matchup nightmare like NJ. It’s not even so much defending as it is the inability to get the puck up ice with cohesion.

The positive is that they got better as the game wore on. Second 30 minutes > first 30 minutes. Second portion, they played at a higher pace to match NJ.
