Trade Jones, Trade Murphy, send Brodie to the ECHL, trade Hall, trade Foligno, trade Reichel, trade Kurashev, fire the whole coaching staff

How f***ing nonchalant can jones be in that scenario. No urgency to get that puck back up ice and then he spends a good three seconds dusting it off at the top of the zone

Glad we lost tbh cuz I wanna maintain pace with San Jose for that top pick.

It just sucks to see 98 struggling to produce like he is rn. He wasn’t scoring that much the final 20 or so games last season either. Obviously the coaching and talent around him play a part in this but even with those things in mind I’m surprised he hasn’t broken out yet.

Hopefully this changes asap. You’d think eventually some improvement or increase in productivity will come. I was expecting he’d be at minimum a PPG level player by year 2.

Brayden Point plays the bumper on Tampa, and has for years. Unless something has changed.
Has not changed. The more I think about Bedard in that spot the more I think it makes sense in the short term. That’s if you trust Teravainen and Kurashev enough to run the half walls on a top powerplay unit though

Yes, it will. Because you move the puck to create mismatches. If they just shade Bedard there, they are giving up the backdoor and conceding the net. The Hawks have NOBODY in the bumper that is really a threat to score, so opposing teams don't care about it.
You have a lot more faith in the rest of the likely powerplay personnel than I do.

Will LR sit Brodie when Martinez returns?
Why do that when you can rock

Martinez-Jones
Allan-Murphy
Vlassic-Brodie

I’d trust TT in that spot for sure

That whole top line has to be better. Bedard included. Putting them out there with Brodie didn't help in the first but they need to produce against the worst team in the league. Had tons of time and space that they wasted and took for granted.

Bedard is double teamed and Kurashev and TT refuse to shoot the puck. Now explain to me how that line scores?

I think Kaiser is better than Brodie at this stage.
As if that matters to this toxic ass organization.

TT is a really good passer. Kurashev actually has a really good one timer, and can pass.

TT on the left wall, Kurashev on the right. Foligno or Bertuzzi(barf) down low. Bedard in the bumper. Jones up top.

Folingo is always a threat to come across the crease for the stuff shot. That opens up the bumper for Bedard.

Its better than this 4 man perimeter garbage they are doing now.
