Great first period and then we just hung on. Did we really go about 30 minutes without a shot on goal like Dave said? That's got to be one of the Cooper specials as I remember us not getting a shot on goal for 20+ minutes many many times.

Vasy was great in this one and we got the win like we had to after seeing the Avs lineup. Especially because the next game in Minnesota is an automatic loss.

Mvp nate Mackinnon wasn't good enough to top kucherov in the scoreboard or stat sheet yet again. I thought he was the best player in the nhl and a top tier defensive player?. Kucherov was robbed last year and it is more and more obvious every week the season progresses.

You can say the boarding on McDonnough was a hockey play. Not a clean hit but at least a hockey play. Should be a penalty.

The hit on Cernak was just dirty intent to injure no hockey play about it. It was late, it was to the head, into the boards, skates 2 feet off the ground, and with a charge.

I believe i said they can downgrade it, which they did. Cuz you can’t review a no penalty. The major got called, and they can downgrade it to a minor or erase it all together as we saw. Don’t be dense.

What are you talking about, are you watching the game? A play can be reviewed if it involved a major penalty even if it wasn't called.

No penalty was downgraded, they called a major on Stein and it was upheld by video review. They then reviewed Wagner boarding McDonagh, which was never originally called a penalty. The referee said it wasn't a major therefore no penalty.
