I actually thought they'd reach the 6 or 7 range, but not much of a difference there

Hawks need a first line of Smith/Folingo/Maroon.
That would make the other teams coach go "lol wat" and throw everything into chaos.
Davidson brought in scrubs, those same scrubs are....scrubs who wouldn't be nothing more then 13th forwards on a playoff team, you have a coach who would rather play those scrubs then young players, a coach who just benched a guy who was solid on Bedards wing, who's playing a projected top two line young player on the fourth line, who's playing musical defense pairings......
At least Allan looked good playing with Seth.....

I've been keeping an eye on the likely top 6 or so forwards.
I knew, even before the season started, that we'd be picking top 10 still and everyone here knows we need at least one other gamebreaker up front.
He can have a career for sure. He doesn't inspire me much though. Good enough at many things, only really excellent as a skater. For a guy who isn't going to make life hell on the other team, another plus trait would go a long way for him
In the beginning, DK was really only excellent skater. Watch Kaiser's game develop.

I'm taking the high road moving forward.
Decision making consistency. Last night he let Dadynov get behind him for the 1st Stars goal. He made a very ill advised backhand pass down the ice from his own zone. He had a couple of good looks from the point late in the game and both caught glass.
It was his his worst game this season.
On a positive note, Allan rebounded very nicely from a bad game Friday night.
Is it a coincidence that Allan played most of his 5x5 time with Brodie on Friday and Kaiser most of his 5x5 with Brodie on Saturday?

By plucking Brodie, TT and Bertuzzi, and signing them immediately, JD showed me he may be no better a GM than Stan. And that ain't no compliment.
PS... I understand the thought process of bringing in the 3 veterans, I just think 2 of the 3 were terrible choices. TT is just okay but the market for a Bedard linemate was pretty much non existent..
The thread to fire Richardson has been up for a while. I guess it takes longer for fans to sour on the GM.
Don't you think if the coach didn't play those players it would be a sign the GM and coach are out-of-sync?
