there are options that the kings could use. Lewis and Andreoff are 4th line players with not much skill I would however if ur not going to use our ahl options. At least promote brown to top line ( while hes hot) and move king down and hope dowd uses his magic to help King You are talkin about useing players that should stay where they are Also at least hes getting opportunities king isnt and your also ignoring the fact its been over 30 games since king has score anyone is better then him at the moment

No..No no no no..No. How many times do we have to shift Brown to the top six the moment he starts to show life only to have him immediately shutdown by the top players in the league before we realize he's fit for where he is right now?
 
Brown is fine where he is with Dowd.

It's about pairs, The Kings have to get some sort of production, with the pairs they have.

Carter/Pearson
Kopitar/Toffoli
Dowd/Brown

ETC.

Exactly.

Brown/Dowd give the Kings some scoring options in the bottom six.

No need to load up a top line, that will face the best Defenders in the league nightly.

Brown would simply go into a black-hole of offense again.

As i said i would only do that if you refuse to use the best options which is bench him and bring up either kempe or mersch . They can both out produce King When was the last time brown was playing this well I say trade deadlineish 2012 Worth a try to get king going somewhat

i giveup you guys want to ignore the fact its been over 30 games for king since he scored so be it There are better options out there You all want to be blind to them fine do so

Great at overskating and fumbling the puck, double clutching on their passes, being on the boards with no one in front of the net. Gilbert was a mainstay for a half decade on one of the worst defensive teams in the history of the league. He's been bought out and attended NHL training camp on a tryout after 7 years in the league.

Sutter makes the lineup's.

We don't

Kempe I believe is still sick(flu), Mersch would have problems keeping up with Kopitar/Toffoli.

Mersch, is somehow slower than Dwight King in transition. Sutter would put him on the bottom six to start anyway.

King isn't the ideal option. He's the only option. Other than Pearson, the Kings have nothing on the left wing. And Mersch and Kempe are obviously not ready for NHL hockey, much less top 6 minutes.

i disagree on mersch He may look slower to you in transition only because king cheats to the offensive zone more then mersch does. Dean was quoted by sayng hes got nothing left to prove in the ahl Its time to give him his shot in the nhl or he may never get one as Kempe will pass him by the end of the year if he hasn't already as the next call up

brown mersch kempe purcell all better options to me. Well according to dean Mersch has nothing left to prove in the ahl. To me if he doesn't get a chance to play soon he may never as kempe will pass him if he hasnt already How much worse can he be Honestly king isnt putting any points up mersch scored a preseason pp goal which this team desperately needs more of
