I think we can see who's skating well. Cernak looks pretty poised out there with McDonagh in early shifts.

Can't help but wonder if last year's scheme affected Cernak a bit? And now that we are just kind of a balanced-6 defense everybody knows their role a little more? Cernak and McDonagh look like peas and carrots. Like all is right with the world.

Remember when we picked up Stralman and, while we knew he was good, he wound up being among the best #2 Ds in the league. Not saying Moser's gonna do that, but the reports on him were all pretty glowing. Might be a gem.

Can't lie, I tried to remember if we brought Namestnikov back (again...) over the summer and I just forgot about it.
