Homeward bound
Home, where my thought's escaping
Home, where my Nash ain't playing
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me

Happy they're finally playing at home. More happy that we finally are going to be playing a normal schedule. No more long breaks between games. The longest break, besides the Olympics, that we have from here on out are 3 days and there are only two of them. This team badly needs to find a rhythm.

Not that I expect them to win tonight. I never expect a win when there's some kind of ceremony before the game.

If the Rangers win out these next 3 games, they'll be back to .500. I can definitely see this happening.

LGR!

Home opener, we should come out flying- especially over our last road win.

Pacioretty, Parros, Prust, Emelin, Briere are all on IR, and Budaj is starting. How many more signs would you like for a win?

Rangers line up looks brutal tonight.

If they skate the way they did the other night they will be in good shape. They have to use their team speed and crate havoc. When they stand around they get in trouble.

He is still a borderline scrub. Their depth is hurting as much as ours.
A borderline scrub? Not at all.

38 points in 57 games (this season and last) while being one of the best two-way players on Montreal, and playing on the third line last year.

Anyways, good luck tonight. Nice to see you guys finally get to have your home opener.

This game comes down to Hank. If he can play at a competent level, and give up 2 goals or less, we win. I think it's a mistake starting him over Talbot, Talbot's played REALLY well so far, and we haven't seen that from Hank. This reeks of him rushing back for the home opener, which IMHO is about the worst thing he can do. I think it's a winnable game, but if we have sub-par goaltending, we're in a DEEP hole. Also need to stop taking dumb penalties...

Prediction: 3-2 Rangers in the Shootout. Brassard, Richards with the goals, Zucc and Richards in the shootout. Team's coming off a huge win, it's the home opener so it should be a good crowd, they are long overdue for a win against the Habs, and 4-6 is a lot better than 3-7.

How about Hank is just Hank and the team in front of him scores some goals so he doesn't have to be superman every night?

I cant believe after a great win against detroit so many people have us losing or getting shutout in our home opener some fans we got lol

Have you seen how we responded to the other wins we got? Ignoring that fact is doing you no favors.

Its just the overall attitude taht pisses me off. even last game we pretty much dominated the red wings even when we were down 1-0. i tried to tell people that they need to be patient and eventually win and sure enough the rangers won

The Rangers haven't shown a lick of consistency so far. They dominated against the Caps too. Followed up with a despicable effort against NJ. Until they show consistency, the attitude is warranted. Prove us wrong Rangers, I hope they do.
