Agreed. Some of the mistakes he has been making is laughable at the NHL level. 2nd pair defense are still expected to play against highly talented players, forwards who score 30+ goals.

I dont know why we are making so many excuses for him. Move on. He isnt going to be what you want him to be. He has been terrible, regardless of who he is playing against.

I’ve always said, if Howden keeps developing, he’s the kind of core player you win with.

You should’ve seen him on faceoffs in the WHL last season. There were games his won/loss record would’ve won him a Cy Young.
