I like this one especially, and it was Pyatt's tenacity on the boards that led to the extended possession. It's often good to have a banger on the 1st line even if he's not a big scorer cause the fancier guys aren't as good in the gutter.
Boyle if he gets his game back is valuable to have. Hes a great guy to use when its a close game and you need to keep the lead.
Dont mind him for that 4th line at all.
understandable but the 4th of powe asham and halpern is not bad looking and if miller stays up he might beable to bring in some more depth on D. Gilroy is playing good now but that wont last and bickel is well bickel. im saying if boyle can bring in the D depth i would explore. hell knowing sather hell pull a boyle for ryan straight![]()
I like Halpern and Powe. I havent seen anything from Asham at all.
And someone will get banged up at some point, then its back to playing Bickel on the 4th line.![]()
ok serious question whats boyles trade value?
dont forget mashinter and ferriero both good options for the 4th
Doesn't matter since we won't trade him.
He could bring up to a 1st at the deadline, however, if we ever chose to move him.
I've always liked having a tough guy on with your scorers the way Gretzky always had a tough guy with him to protect him. That second game we had against Boston when Gabby got drilled into the bench and no one did anything, I thought to myself, why doesn't someone go after this guy? But who wad gonna? Nash? Richards? No, you need someone like Pyatt to keep the other team in line.

if you can get a 1st for him id do it in a heart beat
