[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Games like that where you’re not playing too bad, the PP can give you a boost and we’re not doing that.
It’s pretty simple. The players are out there for a reason, we’ve got to make plays.
- Brad Richards

I thought we outplayed them for a while and created enough chances to tie it up and we didn’t.
We have to focus on our starts. It’s tough when you’re behind.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We need some really good players to make some really good plays.
And we’re not getting really good plays from our really good players consistently enough.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is work in progress.

Here's to Miller and Krieder having a big game. Let them loose Torts!

First (and probably only unless I get a job) game I'll be at this season.

Hope I didn't waste my money! Excited to get to the Garden for the first time since May, way too long.

LGR

We want fishsticks!

Stay out of the box.

Flying to Denver, wont be able to watch.

Just ****ing win please.

Are Miller and Kreider really on the 4th line and Asham, Boyle, and Halpern on the 3rd? Miller and Kreider have more offensive talent in their pinkies than those guys have in their body.

Please win against the Fishies.

Stay out of the box.

Fix the damn powerplay.

Let Miller and Kreider loose.

Hit all the fishies that you see.

LGR.

This is as close to a must win as we'll get this early in the season. After losing to the Devs and the Pens we really need to start winning against the division.

Not gonna be able to watch it.

That's most likely how Torts will start the game. No way in hell it stays like that. Miller and CK will be getting minutes with the big dogs before you know it.

Definitely not a must win. Why do people use that term so freely? This team has won 3 of the last 5 and 4 of the last 6...and this game, game #10 is a must win? What's in the water around here?

That said, a win would be nice. Time to start playing some Rangers hockey!

After a 1-3 start, getting over .500 is important. Stringing more good games together. It doesn't look bad except they lost division games, which are 4 point games when it comes to the standings. Islanders are supposed to be the bottom team in the Atlantic. Beating them is a must. Cannot lose to a team that is supposed to, and still is, the bottom team in the division.

It'd be like losing to the Caps if we played in the SE currently. Cannot happen.

I'm thinking 3-1 win. Islanders offense is good, but IMO Hank is getting better and better. He plays well at home vs the Islanders too. Expect Nash and Kreider to be our best forwards. Isles D is small. They should be able to take advantage of that. Hickey, Streit, Strait, and MacDonald are not physical. Must take advantage of that. Boyle gets on the board this game.

Win incoming.

It took them 10 games to get it together last year. It'll be similar this year.

Miller and Kreider come out huge, and the entire team is inspired by the play of a couple of rookies.

Hank plays out of his mind, gets his confidence back, and reverts to near last year form. Not quite Vezina quality Hank, but more than close enough.

They gut out a win here, get Girardi back, get Cally back, and the team take off like a rocket, with the PK improving, and the powerplay getting out of the bottom 10 in the league.

You heard it here.
