Fox was excellent. Kakko played probably his best game. Rooney continues to do the little, important things well. Trouba and Miller had their moments of awkwardness but played strong against the Caps forwards. Strome should have had 4 goals

Laf was invisible which isn't great.

he's very good at what he does.

He's so good that Torts' praised him. I dont think I've ever seen Torts praise a player like he praised Panarin

That was a very good game for us against one of the leagues best teams. Shesterkin was outstanding but really practically everyone played hard and well. Really Washington scored only one good goal. Hagelin's was just a fluke. We didn't let a bigger more physical team run over the top of us.

The Kakko penalty has to be the worst call I've seen in a long time.

Loved the goal by Bitetto.

We won this game and we deserved to.
