OT: 10,000 Pt XLIV - Guitar Things

Tried the new birthday cake churros from taco bell. A bit small but delicious, perfectly crispy and warm outside. Some might think it's a little too sweet because it's pretty much cake icing in the middle, and I always prefer a solid churro, but it contrasted well with the toasty crust.

Taco Bell promotional items never last long but it is kind of a relief to see these because I feel like the churro world is shrinking. Costco(though not great) got rid of theirs, places that I usually felt secure in getting a good churro have since either disappeared or become a cash grab for a less desirable product than they used to sell(I'm looking at you San Jose flea market half churros).

The Vancouver Giants concessions here have introduce "churro bites" as an option at one of the snack counters. They're overpriced (like $8 for maybe 10 of them) and have a strong vanilla flavor, but they're not terrible and are better than a lot of the random snack options here (other than the undisputed king: raspberry/pineapple swirl Dole Whip)

@Mafoofoo do you still work as an ATC? What’s going on yo.
Keeping it as apolitical as possible, towers and airlines are understaffed and workers were already fairly stretched thin as-is

Also tbf, smaller crashes and incidents have always happened fairly often, there's just more of a magnifying glass on them now considering the political climate and a couple of larger crashes happening at the beginning of the year

Daniel Donato Live at Red Rocks

skip to 40:31 to get a feel for this band and 42:30 for guitar jamborees (this is called Guitar Things is it not???). Whole video is worth watching imo, but that’s my current favorite jam of their’s.

Happy Birthday to our glorious OLD coot, @The Nemesis!

Thanks!

Been a quiet day spent relaxing and continuing to try and set up my new phone. The lack of custom notification sounds is confusing and disorienting and I can't find where I stored my archive of sound files on my backup hard drives(and yes, there are Transformers sounds included. And Godzilla.

But...
glorious OLD coot

You're like 5 months older than me! :P

But honestly, the last two shut downs have been mostly XenForo's fault. I say mostly because this last one wouldn't have happened if Evolve used their own hosting instead of relying on a single point of failure.
