It’s hard to get excited for our prospects and future. I’d much rather overcook our prospects and ice a hardworking competitive even (middling) nhl team each year. Force our prospects to earn a spot. What’s the point of having top end young talent when we don’t insulate them properly and the org lets them get caved every night. This loser mentality has been around our team far too long now. Can we not hire feel good coaches? Save that shit for the AHL and development down there. We need a proven coaching staff.

Middling usually means we miss on high end talent in the draft but what’s the point of high end talent if they develop and grow under this and never reach their expected potential?

Hopefully this rebuild works and I’m wrong for making a post like this. Last thing I want is for our rebuild to fail forcing us to rebuild again.
