He was just trying to make sure the old guy didn’t fall, and was helping him across the ice like any young gentleman should.
Started off very bad, but ended well. Carry that momentum into the next period. Cutter looking really good and got a well deserved apple….will tonight be the night he gets his first goal?

I actually have a good feeling about the upcoming pp given Crosby is in the box.
Cutter already has 5 shot attempts on goal. Love this kid and is what the Dr ordered for this team. Smart move he is not on the top line right now.
Mildly interesting but any time I criticize a Duck but actually mean it when I'm talking hockey with a buddy of mine, they end up getting a point.
He's a Flyers fan so I was telling him Cutter was looking pretty solid and had our best early chance but "too bad black hole Killorn is on his line"
Extra amusing to me that Cutter ends up with a point on a Killorn goal.

They have asked cutter to shoot the puck, play hard 2 way hockey, and skate with speed. He’s been doing that. He seems like a guy who hasn’t found his zone yet. Yet still is contributing. He’s young, he’s a steal for drysdale and it isn’t even close. Happy af to have this kid! He also seems like a nut job, kind of guy who once he grows more comfortable In the league might just drop the gloves with anyone at any point in a game and give us a real spark of life.

Also, very happy we didn’t resign vatrano. Love the guy, but we need to replace him with a more 2 way threat type of player who’s a consistent 20 goal scorer that plays good defense. Once sennecke is ready he replaces killorn. And everyone else grows, we get rid of beavis lacombe and Fowler replace them with a top pairing dman via trade/free agency + solberg and we’re in business. Not to mention, we have the chance to replace mcginn/Leason with guys like colangelo and gaucher or however you spell his name. Get this verbeek era more in full affect.
Other than that Cutter bomb, that powerplay was pure sewage.
