Hot goalie, not much you can do about that. It was pretty much a complete role reversal from the Minnesota game.

Sucks losing to the Leafs but we were the better team without Eichel, Kane and Bogosian so certainly reasons for optimism.

Just ran into a hot goalie. These things happen. Can't help but feel like the Sabres would have won with Eichel, Kane, and Bogo in the lineup.

Welp. Controlled the play for the most part, but they didn't seem to have enough urgency in the third to tie it. Leafs defense is terrible, tho. Anderson was a brick wall tonight.

Sounds like we out played them but couldn't beat a hot goalie. Is that a fair assessment?

Not even mad after tonight. Frustrated yes, but leafs were completely outmatched almost the whole game. Goalie had a hot game. It happens. Leafs won't win many playing like that
