hagel is probably my favorite bolt, but man i have no clue why he seems so hesitant to shoot on the powerplay, two great cross-ice passes and he sends it back to hedman

I’m convinced that the power-play coach wants shots from the point. It’s literally the only thing that makes any kind of sense why Point, Hagel, even Kuch pass up the opportunities they do.

Imagine if they didn’t do that, and actually shot it, how many more power-play goals and/or points the number one unit would have.

Boston giving the boys a rough ride. We're a better overall team but these are the type of games I fear could build up over a long season and especially the playoffs. Zadorov getting a free pass to run guys like 3 seconds after the puck is gone isn't ideal. Nonetheless, probably 1 or 2 nothing if it wasn't for Hedman botching every single golden opportunity on the PP. When you're set up that perfectly and for that long, you have to make something happen. Maybe switch to Raddysh if it continues this way.
