Shots don't really tell the story, this was a pretty dominant game against a supposed contender. If we can continue this brand of low event hockey we saw in this and the LA game, once our shots start going in again we'll look fantastic.

Also, Hagel is so f***ing good and such a pest, how can you not love this dude.

That Point goal was insane. The top line finally broke through and it couldn't have happened at a better time.

Hopefully this game is a turning point after the last awful couple of weeks. We really needed a hard fought win like this.

He's always been a little bitch playing us. Usually goes at it with Kucherov and the two either mouth off, hit each other, or slash one another. Always. I guess he added Hagel to the list.

Aho is the perfect example for why Carolina never makes the kind of noise in the playoffs that so many people expect them to. Perfectly fine player, of course, very good, but if Aho is your best player, you aren't winning anything worthwhile in the playoffs, ever. Playoffs belong to the superstars who can transcend a game and transcend a series, and he's not that, never has been, never will be.

Point is such a clutch mofo. He led the team with 12 GWG last year, has 6 in 34 games this year. In fact, he's led the team in GWGs every year from 20/21 on except 21/22, when Stamko had has 100+ point season.
