You can get a delay of game penalty for deflecting a shot?

I'm a flyers fan and I agree the caps got hosed by the refs tonight, but I don't think something like that should be a penalty. It was a shot on goal, which neuvy saved.

yes i know game is over (congrats flyers)

but is this not a delay of game?

Close, goalies are able to direct the puck over the glass with no call and I guess the refs gave him the benefit of the doubt. Though that little flick that gives it the height is a little suspicious, would like to see it in real time.

I have no issues with the call, but since they called holtby for same penalty in same game, they should have same rules for other goalie.

I got to see a real time replay.

But that gif definitely looks like it was just trickling to the net.

I think it was a smart play by the Flyers goalie. I have no doubt he deliberately flicked the puck up, but he did so close enough in the process of making a save to play it off.

There is no way that Wideman didn't see the linesman. He's looking straight at him all the way.

Widemans had a frustrating season, wonder if that was him taking it all out on the poor linesman.

Should be interesting to see if a suspension is incoming.

At least accept you were bailed out by the refs. The puck was moving 2 mph before the contact with Neuvirth, and then he threw it over the glass. It's an inexcusable non call that decided the game.

What the **** is with some american broadcasts.

The kings feed was going just fine then the broadcast darkened. The whole screen.
Replays from different angles are bright enough but the main overhead angke is dark.

Also both the colorado and LA Audio is loud as **** for the crowd and super quiet for play by play...

Because it was. The shot barely made it through the blocking defender, and then just trickled to Neuvirth where he then did that move to shoot it over the glass. Now, I'm sure he meant to hit the boards/glass but clearly didn't. Should've been a DoG
