Not sure this team is going anywhere this year unless a move is made or two. The talent has caught up in the rest of the league. Division is way more competitive. With more cap next year they should be able to add to the roster that's top heavy and get rounded out again. This year isn't it unless a move is made. Some kind of shake up.

We’ve got to keep in mind that the cap is going up for all other teams as well. Salaries will skyrocket. I want to be hopeful but teams will be competing hard and overpay massively for competent players.

Agree. It will remain competitive. We will need to maybe bring someone in who can do the old sfy stare and get some ufa or two to sign maybe a little under value. It's still an attractive place to play but it's not quite like it was before.

Eyssimont had a good game, but I don't see him and Guentzel having any kind of lasting chemistry. However, Guentzel-Paul-Eyssimont might be a good third line.

Adding Kucherov to the Hagel-Cirelli pair hasn't done much for either. It's time to reunite Point and Kuch, if only to get Point back in the goal scoring race.
I’d love to see Jake with Hagel and Cirelli. That line would be freekin tenacious
