We got outworked last time against Montreal and we are in a very tough period with ton of games, I really hope they can muster some energy and be ready and work hard from the go! Let's get a win!

Not too many games in hand now. You have to actually get points to take advantage of that, not throw them away.

Alot of teams around the WC spots right now. Tampa is by no means safe as the 3 seed.

Need to string along some wins .500. Anothet must-win divisional game tonight.

I hope the boys don't have the same mindset. If they lose it's only one point between them and Montreal.
I don't think the mindset of a fan in a different country has any affect whatsoever on the mindset of the team.

"Only one point between them and Montreal" proves it's not a must-win. It's a "would sure be nice to win so we can feel comfortable" game.

I got nothing.

We have not bottom 6 firepower outside of Paul. And who knows which 88 shows up.

I think I'll just drink until I pass out watching the game tonight.

How so? When the standings are so tight every game is "must win". Especially against teams in your division. If they lose a couple more games and Ottawa, Boston and Montreal win, they'll be completely out of the playoffs. Look at Detroit. They looked like they were getting close to the playoffs, but a couple of losses and they're way behind. It's time to play like it's the playoffs or you won't get there, it's that simple.

I don't think you understand what "must win" means.

We could lose our next 5 and still be in the race. Terrible place to be, but there are worse places.

So until you're close to mathematically losing your chances of making the playoffs, you don't have any must-win games? Okay
Or until losing means your chances are so tiny it's pretty much not worth the effort.

It's a long race. There are important games, but must win games mean "if you lose it's too late." Not "if you lose you're in a slightly worse position."
