Vasi might steal the game in Montreal even when the team is tired. Those chances don’t increase when you play the inferior goalie instead.

The way Montreal has been playing as of late, I'm not sure how weak of an opponent they are anymore. I get the reasoning, but getting 2 points cs Toronto is far more important than Montreal at this stage. I'd just rather have their best out there, who is Vasy, to maximize that chance.

Disagree, winning the division and avoiding potentially having to go through both the Panthers and Leafs the 1st two rounds should be the goal, not worrying about Montreal at this point.

If Vasy was playing poorly, maybe I'd go with JJ, but Vasy has been looking more and more like the old Vasy as of late. I gwt that JJ has also played well recently, but with a chance to gain on the division leader, I'd want my top goalie out there. I'm sure Vasy wanted the start tonight as well, given the last couple of outings against them. Oh well, hopefully JJ is on form, but let's not kid ourselves that he's not as Jekyll/Hyde as they come.
 
I seem to recall we used to do this at some point. Backup would start the first game and Vasy second. I'm not too sure though if my memory is just f***ing with me.
 
Not overly confident about this one. Getting 2 points from Detroit before this game was big for that reason. But let's see if we can play a decent game and not get in our own way

Still terrible defense, and while Matthews is a great goal scorer, it was a very saveable shot. The whole team is playing poorly.
