There's a phrase I didn't think I'd ever hear: "It's not just about offense with Brian Dumoulin."
Absolutely. There was another play where he sees his teammate making a pass to him but (i think it was Coutourier ) in his path and he just quickly lifts Coots stick up and the pass gets made and he gets a great shot off cleanly instead of hoping the puck can get past the defending guy so he can get an opportunity. He just made his great opportunity with a split second smart move...................plays like that are him in a nutshell.Sid's play on the Malkin goal is a perfect example of the "little things" he does. After struggling on several zone entries (on a 4-on-3!) it's Sid who finally gets possession and sets them up in the zone which quickly leads to the goal.
Where the hell has that been Schultz?!?!?
