I don't know his shootout record, but I think he's generally been terrible in the shootouts he's played. I'm pretty sure I remember another 0-for-3 shootout from him last year.
Radio announcers said he has not stopped one single shootout attempt this year, he has a save % of Zero in shootouts.

They said he was 0 for 12 on shootout saves so it was not his first

Your post said "he has not stopped one single shootout attempt this year."

If you look at his game log this was the first game he's played in that went to a shootout this season. The only other OT game he played was ended on 3v3.

But going further back.... I only see 3 games for a total of 0-9, which is impressively terrible. You'd think he'd get lucky with at least one save by some bum flubbing an attempt.

2025 v. NSH - 0-3
2023 v. NSH - 0-3
2022 v. MTL - 0-3

I thought it was an obvious mistake. Have to pick and choose where to make a stand even if you are objectively right.
When the ref first went to center ice to explain why the goal was waived off he distinctly stated that 17 interfered with the goalie. The replay clearly showed that 17 was trying to avoid contact but was pushed by the Preds dman. If anything it was 73 who impeded the goalie but the officials ego would not allow them to admit their mistake. Hawks regularly get the short end of the stick from officials and this game was no exception.
